Steve over at Anderson Layman’s puts up some New Year’s Day panels:
It was a stay-at-home evening so we stayed with homemade – invited a close friend over, made some stovetop sole meuniere, homemade roasted sweet potato fries, enjoyed a couple of bottles of white, then a classic homemade french apple tart with hand cranked vanilla bean ice cream. Okay – I used the Cuisinart. But I did hand stir a couple of times.
Watched Hope Springs with Tommy Lee Jones and Meryl Streep – she is fabulous – then switched to Ryan Seacrest and Jenny McCarthy – not as fabulous – in the last 56 seconds of 2012. Woke up the four-leggeds, scratched their heads and wished them a happy new year, sequestered Ninja Kitty in his room to limit his post-midnight wanderings, then toddled off to bed.
It’s the first morning of the first day of the new year. Onward we go to more adventures!

The whole Jenny McCarthy thing puzzled me. I always wonder who makes those decisions. We stayed at home too. Here is to a great 2013, Jeff.

It’s all about the noise, Kurt…visual and otherwise! I tried to keep it down to a minimum…
Onward we go into 2013!
