Just a little thought and incentive while I work thru my own distractions:

art and fear 2
– excerpted from the opening chapter to Art and Fear
by David Bayles and Ted Orland

It’s a struggle. Always has been and always will be. Anyone who can string a few words together or create an image thru film, pixels, or paint can tell you how they do it. But not why they do it.

Yet, the closer you get to the reason why you do it, the further away you’ll be. How do you explain love? How do you explain that single moment when you move into that thundering space that seems to grab all of your emotion and focus and attention and need?

Best to have your brush in hand and fingers on the keyboard…be ready…the words will out…
