Just an insatiable curiosity – the joy increases when I can pass it on… 🙂

I just got a chance to see this video and loved it. I fell in love with an antique printing press in Oyster Bay decades ago and printed obsessively for about a year and a half. I was in love with the process. Thank you for this lovely reminder. What do you mean by “this is where I’ve lived for many years?”

I’ve been involved in the graphics arts for many years – started with a red pencil as a proofreader, moved on to book production, web and sheetfed printing, and eventually custom packaging. I’ve touched on so many parts of the industry and yet my curiosity never ends. So when I say I’ve lived here, I’ve been immersed in paper, ink, typography and design for nearly two thirds of my life. It’s where I feel very much at home. 🙂
